I am fiiinally home from camp! OH, boy, am I tired! Walking up a giant hill 3 times or more a day for 2 weeks can be pretty tiring, if I do say so myself.
So during my 2 week, overnight adventure, I had a lot of fun. I've made soo many new friends, it's not even funny. Like, there's this one girl, Kendall, that reminds me SOOO much of Aunt Sam, that it's amazing. Like, she's sort of built like her and she even acts like her. Like- during gypsie trip (wich I'll talk about in a minute), she was hocking loogies out of the bus window to land on the cars' windshields behind us. That just reminded me of her... :]
Gypsie trip is basically a random, 2day/1 night trip away from camp for senior campers. And by random, I mean- we don't know when or where it is. Thursday before last, we were awoken by the kitchen boys throwing rocks and sticks against the side of our cabin and running through our cabin throwing things at 3 in the morning. We packed our bags and left at like 5. We ended up going to Chattanooga. 1st, we went to the Chattanooga aquarium, then Ruby Falls, then Rock City for the 1st day. The second day was kinda boring though. We went to this so-called "River" Rat thing that was like a tubing place. You were supposed to basically supposed to float down this "river", which was really just a wide creek, and then get out. Fuuuun. So, it's like a foot deep and I'm scraping my knees and feet on rocks and whatnot, then we get to these like...mini-rapids. It was kind of pathetic. But oh well. The day was fun just being with everyone. After that, we were supposed to go up to the highest point in Tennessee, but the bus ran out of gas like 3 4ths of the way up. Great. So we have to go back down this mountain at like 30 miles an hour and every 15 minutes or so, we have to stop to let traffic pass. That took pretty much the rest of the day. We got back to camp and guess what we did? Slept. duuh.
Well, I've got some more camp stories, but that's it for now.
lubb you guys!

Someone please remind me to ask Sam to demonstrate the loogies? :)
Glad you had a fun time at camp! I never experienced it myself and always felt that I really missed out on something.
I'm glad you had a good time and that you got to not only go with good friends, but also make some new friends!
Um, no, Aunt Sam does not do loogies. Bleah. And your mommy would be very upset if'n I told you what we would do to passing cars. After your HS graduation, me 'n you will go out to dinner and I'll tell all! But your mommy would shave my head if I told you now...
Um ... *ahem*... I was sweet and innocent all the days of my youth.
But, oh - those suh-uh-mer nigh-iiiiiiiiights! (I'll tell you more, I'll tell you more... later, when you're growed a bit more)
;-}
And I better leave the house before yo' mama comes home and beats me!!!
